I mocked up a possible book cover for my as-yet-unfinished novel, The Book of Rodney: Satan Sometimes Brings Cupcakes. What do you think? Those are red velvet cupcakes, by the way.

I like the use of the painting and the cupcakes but I think the cupcakes need some emphasis. Since Satan looks like he was just smashed to the ground, you could have the cupcakes flying up, as the would if they’d been knocked out of his hand. And that way, the cupcakes would be more in the line of sight of the whole cover.
Also, don’t hide your name by camouflaging it in the same color as the painting. Try purple.
Honest advertising is not the opposite of appropriate humbleness.
