I love the idea of a ladder or a stairway reaching between heaven and earth. Jacob saw it in a dream or a vision on his way from Beer-Sheba to Haran. I don’t think we can climb our way to heaven. Instead, I think of this stairway as a portal between our dimension and heaven. In the Book of Rodney, I imagined it as a winding, circular stairway shaped like a DNA helix. When the angels cross dimensions, they feel a little buzz or shock.
